POSITION SUMMARY:
Sun Solutions is seeking a Press Helper to join a GROWING company! Put your skills to work in our state of the art printing facility where we print high-quality, full-color products.
POSITION SCHEDULE:
Full-time (Hours may vary.)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Read and follow job orders
- Assist in setup of print jobs and assist in operating our printing presses
- Monitor output to assure quality throughout each run
- Assist in monitoring equipment and perform routine/preventive maintenance
- Work with our team in maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
EXPERIENCE:
- Candidates must be able to read and understand a job ticket, layout sheet, artwork and other specifications.
- Previous printing/press experience on a sheet-fed press is encouraged
- Experience in a fast set up environment is required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the functions of this job. The employee is required to sit, stand, kneel and crouch. The employee must lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
